Celebrity Cricket League
The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is a sports entertainment body comprising of movie stars from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Kerala, Bangla & Hindi Film industries. These celebrities represent different teams that meet for an annual tournament of the international Twenty-20 format cricket.
The league was formed in October 2010 and brings 60 Artists from 4 different languages together each year for their passion of Cricket.
The strength of CCL is the support we derive from the Team Franchisee Owners who for the most part are stars and members of the film fraternity.
Season 1 of CCL was received with great enthusiasm by fan and critics alike, based on its balance of glamour and competition.
The CCL ethos is to embed a sense of unity beyond barriers of language, culture and regions.
CCL brings together all major film industries in the world’s largest most prolific film producing nation in the world, in the form of an international cricket tournament.
MUMBAI HEROES – The Bollywood Team
Mumbai Heroes is a Franchise of Celebrity Cricket League owned by Mumbai Heroes Sports LLP.
The idea was to combine the two popular Indian religions, cinema and cricket, to produce great entertainment for the audience.
Salman Khan being the icon player, Sonakshi Sinha, Genelia D'souza and Kangana Ranaut are the Brand Ambassadors of Mumbai Heroes.
Suniel Shetty is the Captain and Ritesh Deshmukh is the Vice Captain of the Team – Mumbai Heroes.
The fellow Team Players are Sohail Khan, Bobby Deol, Aftab Shivdasani, Sonu Sood, Varun Badola, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Raja Berwani, Apoorva Lakhia, Angad Bedi, Kabir Sadanand, Sunny Singh, Tushar Jalota, Sharad Kelkar, Varun Rao.

Balwinder Singh Sandhu, who played a significant role in the Indian cricket team that won the 1983 World Cup is the coach. Dr. Aijaz Ashai a Physiotherapist of Mumbai Indians team (IPL) is now the physio-coach for the team Mumbai Heroes.
